Absorber with Active Carbon

For large air volumes with low concentrations of VOC, it is appropriate to use an absorber design with a fixed bed of active carbon. Waste air passes through the active carbon bed where the absorption of VOC takes place. The adsorbent is periodically regenerated with a small flow of hot air.
